Defect: EZ Loader Adjustable Boat Trailers, Inc. (EZ Loader) is recalling certain model year 2013 -2014 boat trailers, equipped with Carlisle Transportation Products-brand 15X6" and 16X6" CrossTrax Series trailer wheels. The lips of the affected wheels are susceptible to cracking and separation.
Risk: If a separation occurs, the trailer tire may rapidly lose air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: The manufacturer has not provided a remedy plan. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact EZ Loader at 1-509-489-0181.
