Back Over Prevention: Sensing System: Camera 2026-09-10 · campaign 26V585000 · 195 vehicles
Defect: Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Lone Star Vans built on Ram ProMaster chassis. Cracks in the microprocessor may cause the rearview camera image not to display properly.
Risk: A rearview image that does not display properly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect the rearview camera. Forest River will work with Ram to replace a damaged review camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 9, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 82-2089 and Ram's number for this recall is 60C.
