Power Train:axle Hubs 2019-06-12 · campaign 19V445000 · 3 vehicles
Defect: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2019 911 GT2 RS and 2020 911 Carrera S Coupe vehicles. The bolts connecting the driveshaft to the wheel hub may not have been properly tightened.
Risk: If the driveshaft disconnects from the wheel hub, it can increase the risk of crash.
Fix: Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will properly tighten the driveshaft connection to the wheel hub, free of charge. The recall began August 9, 2019. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AKB2.
