Electrical System:wiring:fuses And Circuit Breakers 2024-03-22 · campaign 24V222000 · 48 vehicles
Defect: Reading Truck Equipment, LLC (Reading) is recalling certain 2021-2024 dump body trucks. Inadequate clearance may allow the hood to contact the main electrical fuse terminal.
Risk: Contact with the main fuse terminal can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and relocate fuse terminal and fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 25, 2024. Owners may contact Reading customer service at 1-800-458-2226.
