Service Brakes, Air:antilock:control Unit/Module 2026-07-30 · campaign 26V501000 · 137 vehicles
Defect: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2027 E-ACTT terminal tractors. The Antilock Braking System (ABS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may be improperly secured, allowing the ABS ECU to separate.
Risk: A separated ABS ECU may become damaged, causing the ABS system to fail and increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Autocar will replace the fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACTT-2601.
Electrical System:software 2025-01-30 · campaign 25V045000 · 130 vehicles
Defect: Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2023-2025 E-ACTT vehicles. A software error may allow the vehicle to rollaway while on an incline and cause an engine stall.
Risk: A vehicle rollaway and an engine stall increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 30, 2025. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is ACTT-2501.
