Defect: Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Commander, Charger, and 2023 MM300 concrete mixer trucks. The bolts connecting the drum to the drum drive plate may loosen, resulting in the drum separating from vehicle.
Risk: A detached drum can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Fix: Terex will provide replacement fasteners and thread locker, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961.
