Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH trucks. A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor.
Risk: Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will tighten the wiper motor drive nut and three motor mounting bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 21, 2026. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-331-332-5000. International's number for this recall is 26513.
Service bulletins (1)
Technical service bulletins are repair instructions manufacturers send dealers for known issues. Unlike recalls, the fix is not automatically free — but naming the bulletin at the service desk can save diagnosis time and support goodwill repairs.
