Seat Belts:rear/Other:webbing 2026-10-14 · campaign 26V674000 · 310 vehicles

Defect: PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2027 Peterbilt 567, 579, 589, Kenworth T680, T880, W900, and W990 vehicles. The belt restraint webbing for the sleeper bunk was not secured properly during manufacturing.

Risk: A bunk restraint with improperly secured webbing may fail to adequately restrain vehicle occupants during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the bunk restraints, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 13, 2026. Owners may contact Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888 and Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220. PACCAR's number for this recall is 26PACH.

Service bulletins (1)

Technical service bulletins are repair instructions manufacturers send dealers for known issues. Unlike recalls, the fix is not automatically free — but naming the bulletin at the service desk can save diagnosis time and support goodwill repairs.
