Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Wayfarer recreational vehicles. The liquid propane (LP) tank may have been manufactured without the remote shut off and may be loose in the mounting bracket.

Risk: LP tanks that cannot be shut off increase the risk of a fire. Additionally a loose LP tank may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will install a remote shut off and replace the bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 20, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-108.

Equipment:other:labels 2026-05-27 · campaign 26V342000 · 160 vehicles

Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Open Trail, Wayfarer, and 2026 Midas recreational vehicles. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."

Risk: The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-107.

Service bulletins (1)

Technical service bulletins are repair instructions manufacturers send dealers for known issues. Unlike recalls, the fix is not automatically free — but naming the bulletin at the service desk can save diagnosis time and support goodwill repairs.

certain 2027 wayfarer motorhomes need to have the programming updated in order for the holding tanks (fresh, grey and black tanks) to read levels accurately.
