Back Over Prevention: Sensing System: Camera 2026-10-09 · campaign 26V666000 · 1,053 vehicles
Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and AC Series Crane vehicles. These vehicles may have been manufactured without a rearview camera installed.
Risk: A missing rearview camera can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Altec will install a camera or provide a camera kit to owners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed December 4, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3376.
Forward Collision Avoidance: Sensing System: Radar 2026-04-17 · campaign 26V247000 · 36 vehicles
Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2025-2026 Digger Derrick and 2025-2026 Aerial Device vehicles. The front end radar was improperly installed, which may result in improper operation of the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Active Brake Assist (ABA).
Risk: While driving, the brakes may activate unexpectedly without the driver's input, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Altec will inform the owners to inspect the front end radar installation and if installed incorrectly, instruct owners to take the vehicle to an OEM Chassis dealer to have the radar remounted and calibrated, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3309.

Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.
Risk: An incorrect pressure rating may lead to underinflated tires, increasing the risk of a tire blowout or a crash.
Fix: Altec will inspect and replace the incorrect certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3294.
